XML Feeds* A Blog for You
Having your own blog can be a a good way to express yourself, and it won't cost you anything except a little time. How much time? That's going to depend on what you want!
It will take some time right off the bat to get your blogging area set up the way you want it, and to learn how to use it. Your blog will be set up with a default theme and the normal information in the sidebars, much like this blog or Portia's. If you like the way your blog looks, you can start right in blogging. Just log in and select the new blog link and have at it.
But if you'd like a little more customization, that is possible, too. We're using a full featured system, so you will be able to do change almost everything through your "dashboard". For example, there are several "themes" you can choose to change the general appearance of your pages. You can also upload pictures to use or use pictures already on another web site. You can even control some of the optional content that is displayed on the headers, sidebars and footers. You can get as wrapped up in this as you want. Links to the software's online manual are in the dashboard, so you can spend hours over there reading up if you want to.
